There is so much to enjoy in WA and everyone’s tastes are different. So, what if we could personalise each planner’s virtual journey, as a way of exposing them to the things they are more enticed by? It’s always nice to be guided by a local and feel as though you’re welcomed with (virtual) open arms too. So, can we show potential event planners around our state with a friendly guide, while also letting them choose (in real time) how their experience unfolds? We can. And we did. 

THE SOLUTION

We devised an innovative choose-your-own-adventure style digital experience that allowed our audience to explore WA’s unparalleled beauty, world heritage sites, gourmet food and wine (and even snap a selfie with a Quokka) all from the safety of their device. The planners could peruse our hotel offering, choose an adventure, and compare venues. Every journey could be personalised for each particular planner, and their bespoke business event. Their tailored virtual tour was curated for them by our quirky, charming virtual chauffeur. 

THE RESULTS

In the first three months, over 50 events were secured, totalling over 18,000 delegates. 50 events from a $50,000 campaign produced a significant ROI for the State.
