As the national appetite for broadband data increases, iiNet looked to their creative agency to help solidify their position in the ISP market. We needed to make a big impact when they introduced their unlimited broadband data plans within a highly competitive communications industry.
Finding a new, creative way to get the customer conversation started.
A marketing campaign was needed that positioned iiNet as the brand that understands customers best, leveraging off being number 1 in customer service. We focussed on the simplicity of the offer: no bundles, no lock-in contract, and unlimited data. After exploring multiple territories, we knew that a limitless world is one that would feel most relatable for an unlimited data offering.
Our idea was to unlock the limitless potential of the consumer by representing Finn in a custom-made balloon chair, demonstrating limitless ingenuity outside of the regular iiNet sphere. As a distinctly different direction, Finn floated through an ethereal cloud-like setting, enjoying a world without limits.
How did we go converting the objectives into results?
Our marketing strategy combined with fresh creative, really took off! The limitless campaign launched in August 2016 and resultantly, iINet received a significant hike in sales queries and sign-ups, propelled off an integrated radio, TV, outdoor and press campaign that highlighted their offer, with sales performing beyond expectations across all markets.
