AWARD school is 12 weeks of empty 0.6 Artlines, an entire forest of paper and tears. It’s a course about ideas, creative thinking and the processes involved in coming up with great ideas and ultimately good ads. Each week is a different brief with a different media, ranging from idea creation, promo/experiential, television, radio, outdoor, online/viral, creative strategy, integrated media and new thinking.
It was great to win WA AWARD school and to learn from a bunch of great tutors and students. The state winners from all around the country then flew to Sydney for the national announcement at Facebook HQ. Although I didn’t take out the national win (VIC) it was an amazing experience to be a part of, learning from world-class creatives and techniques on how to deal with this weird and wacky world of Advertising.
